At Home Newborn Photography


I offer a Unique Service of packing up my studio and bringing to the comfort of your own home, Newborn shoots are recommended within the first 3 weeks after birth, this is because baby is more sleepy and easier to position for photos. I know myself how overwhelming it can feel to leave your home with a newborn or 2, so instead of bringing baby to a new environment, I come to you, this means if you want to breastfeed, pump or feed in private you can, if you’re still recovering from birth you can relax in your own home and if dad wants to go upstairs and watch the football between family photos well he absolutely can!


My Newborn style is a mix of natural and set up, I like to capture those little details that soon change as they grow. If you’d like any specific details such as styled shots, types of flowers, personal/job specific requests eg. Musical instruments, saddles, army hats, stethoscope… just let me know when you book. Also a plus to coming to you is including your fur Family, Im absolutely happy for you to get your Dogs Cats, Rabbits involved in the shoot too.


I ask that you have plenty of warm towels available and the room needs to be at a warm temperature 20 degrees or more so baby is comfortable between swaddling and posing, it’s an idea to have white noise or relaxing music on to make for a calming environment for Baby.


Set up when I arrive can take 30 minutes so I can get the backdrop up and lighting correct. The session can last between 2-3 hours depending on how baby is, but please understand there is no pressure, babies are all different sometimes they take some time to relax, if we need to stop, take a break, feed, change that is all fine.
